Drawn from the Museum’s Southwest Native American Collection, this exhibition showcased Zuni animal carvings, often believed to house the spirit of the animal they represent. Traditionally, the animal fetishes were used as hunting charms, protection and healing. The works selected for this exhibition were purchased by the museum in 2006/2007.
