Creating Illuminating Visualizations
The VizSim lab creates 3D+time data visualizations to enhance understanding of geospatial data, primarily in the domain of Aviation Safety. General domains include navigational aid antenna pattern visualization and weather.

The VizSim Lab is led by Principal Investigator, Assistant Professor Chad Mourning.
Current researchers include 3 Ph.D. students, 8 Master's Students, and several undergraduate researchers. Thus far the lab has overseen $1M in sponsored research and graduate 3 Master's students.
