Want to keep airport operations running smoothly, or have a hand in regulatory issues? Our aviation management program is a partnership with the College of Business where you’ll develop a thorough background in aviation, including aeronautics, aviation law, airline operations and management, and the national airspace system, as well as business, including accounting, business law, business and human resources management, economics, and finance.
Courses and Curriculum
The aviation management degree covers many of the same topics as the aviation flight program but also incorporates classes from the College of Business so you can master the unique logistical challenges of this industry.
Beginning with fundamental science and mathematics courses, our undergraduate aviation programs incorporate flight training and industry-focused courses to create an enriching learning experience.

Ohio University has its own airport, as well as a fleet of 15 aircraft from manufacturers including Cessna and Piper. We also utilize multiple simulators to provide our students with immersive, hands-on experiences that enhance their retention of learning in a positive manner.
