OHIO Online Incentive Scholarships are available to OHIO alumni, as well as employees of our 50+ corporate partners, military active duty, and veterans. The 15% scholarship applies to instructional, program, and non-resident fees.

How it Works
To complete the 30 credit hours required to earn the master’s degree, you’ll take two 3-credit hour courses, Introduction to Graduate Research in Communication and the Master’s Capstone. Your remaining 24 credits will come from our stackable graduate certificates.
Program outcomes
However you choose to customize your master of communication, you’ll come away with the following skills and competencies:
- Apply communication theory and concepts to analyze audiences (public & private), determine how to adapt to those communication situations, and advocate for yourself and/or your community.
- Draw on communication theory and concepts to demonstrate strategic problem-solving and deliberative decision-making.
- Demonstrate proficiency with communication tools and communication skills necessary for effective teamwork and leadership.
