he Agilent 3100 OFFGEL Fractionator is designed to increase the number of proteins and peptides that can be identified in a whole cell lysate by separating the peptides of interest by their isoelectric point (pI) prior to analysis by PAGE, western blots, mass spec, HPLC, etc. etc. The 3100 can generate 12 or 24 fractions based on pI which are recoverable in buffer and immediately available for loading into the next set of analysis.
