The Master of Arts program in Spanish offers students the opportunity to learn with an interdisciplinary approach. Students will be able to analyze literature, become informed observers of language usage, and acquire advanced language and cultural skills.

The MTESOL program takes a broad perspective on English language teaching. Depending on students’ chosen career path, the curriculum prepares graduates to teach English as a foreign language to different learner populations, from elementary to post-secondary schools.

Students shape their study around their professional and academic goals. Graduates find opportunities in national and international security fields, diplomacy and foreign affairs analysis, in the non-profit sector and international organizations, and consulting.

This certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) is offered entirely online in an asynchronous manner, allowing non-degree-seeking students to work at their own pace.

The TESOL Endorsement is for teachers with an Ohio teaching license who are interested in obtaining the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement.

This program addresses the increased need for employees in security studies, especially in the post 9-11 era. The certificate is open to students from any department or school.
