Mathematics Minor

The Mathematics Minor provides an opportunity for students in mathematics-related majors an opportunity to engage in coursework that further develops their mathematics skills and knowledge. A mathematics minor is also a way for students in non-mathematics related majors to engage in coursework that is challenging, stimulating and enjoyable.

Careers with a Mathematics Minor

The most common reason to get a Minor in Mathematics is that the knowledge and skills that students learn will help in whatever pursuits they undertake. Employers and graduate schools value these skills and are often impressed by the intellectual rigor represented by the attainment of a minor in mathematics.
