Dinty W. Moore’s memoir Between Panic & Desire was winner of the Grub Street Nonfiction Book Prize in 2009. His other books include The Mindful Writer , The Accidental Buddhist , The Emperor’s Virtual Clothes , the writing guide Crafting The Personal Essay: A Guide for Writing and Publishing Creative Nonfiction , and the craft anthology The Rose Metal Press Guide to Writing Flash Nonfiction . Moore has published essays and stories in The Southern Review , The Georgia Review , Harper’s , The New York Times Sunday Magazine , The Philadelphia Inquirer Magazine , Gettysburg Review , Utne Reader , and Crazyhorse , among numerous other venues. He edits Brevity: The Journal of Concise Literary Nonfiction .
