The Arts & Sciences Experience Fund empowers undergraduate students majoring in College of Arts & Sciences disciplines and programs to extend their learning beyond the classroom. In line with the OHIO Dynamic Strategy’s Learn Pillar, this fund provides up to $2,500 to support internships, research & creative activities, study away programs and community engagement opportunities, helping students gain hands-on experience, build professional networks, and apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings.
Application Process
To apply, please submit the following materials to Associate Dean Nukhet Sandal ( sandal@ohio.edu ):
- Proposal (at least 500 words): A detailed description and documentation of your plans, including how this experiential learning opportunity will enhance your academic and professional development.
- Faculty Endorsement: An email from a faculty member familiar with your plans, confirming their support. (This does not need to be lengthy.)
- Budget: A breakdown of costs, funding sources, and the amount requested from the College.
