Community Engagement
Why get involved?
The College of Health Sciences and Professions (CHSP) is committed to being a good partner to students and the community – especially during these challenging times.
CHSP engages in numerous partnerships and outreach initiatives with the
Athens community
and beyond. We are also home to numerous
student organizations
who are committed to supporting specific causes and building a strong
community network.
Regardless of whether you are in Athens, learning at one of OHIO's regional campuses/centers or living in your home community, here are some things to think about when considering when and how to get involved:
- What do you feel passionate about?
- What is realistic for your schedule?
- How do you help best?
- What are you good at?
- What professional and/or personal skills would you like to develop?
- What would you like to learn more about?
- What pressing issues or populations need assistance?
