  • 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open. Completing the FAFSA gives you access to federal student aid — the largest source of aid — along with state and institutional aid. OHIO's first-priority date for submission of the FAFSA is February 15, 2025.

  • Summer Financial Aid

Students interested in taking summer semester classes may be eligible to receive federal and state financial aid, including grants and loans. Summer semester begins the financial aid year at Ohio University. If you have been offered financial aid, check your MyOHIO Student Center to see if your aid is already being applied toward summer semester.

If your financial aid does not include summer, you can email financial.aid@ohio.edu to request your aid be applied over summer, fall, and spring semesters, if applicable.

  • 2025-2026 Financial Aid Offers!

Financial Aid Offers are now being mailed to fall 2025 incoming freshmen. The Aid Offer provides federal, state, and institutional financial aid funds offered to students. It also incudes estimated 2025-26 tuition, residence hall, and meal plan costs. Learn about how the OHIO Guarantee ensures these costs will remain the same for up to four years of undergraduate study. The Financial Aid Enclosure included with the Aid Offer outlines next steps and provides guidance on additional payment options. For next steps, you can also view the 2025-26 Calendar . Please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships with any questions you have.
