Health is big here.
Ohio University is our state’s leading producer of health professionals. We’re among the nation’s Top 5 providers of bachelor’s degrees in health care and Top 15 educators of primary care physicians.
But what matters most is the quality of care those individuals are delivering across the state and the nation and the big difference we make in lives and communities.
Explore our highly-ranked programs in a wide variety of health fields.
We’re preparing students to be doctors, nurses, physical therapists, physician assistants and much more. But, we also offer a wide array of non-clinical professional programs from health care administration to environmental health to music therapy, with a focus on providing students with experiences that prepare them for successful careers.

The Ohio University Health Collaborative: Putting community needs at the center.
Our University focus isn’t simply on delivering degrees but on improving health in communities across our region and our state. We do that by working together across disciplines and departments and partnering with hundreds of agencies, non-profits and government entities to understand and solve big, complex challenges that impact health in the communities we serve. We organize this work through the Ohio University Health Collaborative.
