The Cutler Scholars represent nine academic colleges across Ohio University. Eight were academically engaged in research last year, and the Scholars are involved in more than 130 student organizations. They've earned grants for research and scholarly activity, creative activity, study away, national conference presentations, and professional development opportunities.

  • Favorite part of the Cutler Scholars Program: There is much to appreciate about the CSP program. My transition to college was significantly facilitated by the freshmen retreat, which allowed me to explore Athens and form lasting friendships before classes even began. As a senior, many of my closest relationships have been with individuals I met through this program. Additionally, CSP has provided me with numerous opportunities to travel across the country for academic and professional experiences. Thanks to CSP, I have visited Minnesota, California, Florida, and Colorado, with a trip to Tennessee planned soon. Through the Cutler Colloquium, I was exposed to diverse perspectives on major social issues. The program encouraged me to express my views and taught me how to engage in respectful debates on complex topics. CSP has been instrumental in making my college experience possible, and I am deeply grateful for all it has offered.
