Lancaster Campus Accessibility Services

At Ohio University, we believe in fostering inclusive experiences for all members of our community — one of the ways in which we achieve this is through Accessibility Services.

The mission of Accessibility Services ensures equal opportunity and access for members of the OHIO community. Central to this mission is the development of an academic environment that is accessible to all people without the need for adaptation. While working toward the goal of full inclusion, accommodations must still be provided on an individual basis.

What Does Accessibility Services Do?

Accessibility Services coordinates accommodations and connects students, faculty and staff members with disabilities to the most relevant campus resources. Accessibility coordinators review documentation and determine eligibility according to the framework of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
