Ohio University students, faculty and staff returning to the Athens or regional campus can pick up a bag that includes personal protective equipment upon their return.
The bags, which include hand sanitizer, two branded masks and a digital thermometer, are available to students returning in the first or second phases this fall. One bag is available for each student. A student ID is required to pick up the bags.
Ohio University employees will also receive two branded masks. They will be distributed through each planning unit’s PPE contact .
- Athens Campus students can pick up their bags at the Student Services desk on the fourth floor of Baker University Center, regardless of whether they are attending classes on campus as part of Phase 1 of the Fall reopening plan.
- Chillicothe students who haven’t received their bags yet may pick them up outside Bennett Hall between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 26; 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 27; and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28. OHIO Chillicothe nursing students will assist with the distribution on Thursday.
- Eastern Campus students will receive their PPE on the first day of their labs. Those who have not yet picked up their PPE bags may pick them up in the Dean’s office.
- Lancaster Campus students can pick up their bags between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the North Lobby of Brasee Hall (main entrance lobby).
- Southern Campus students can pick up their bags in Shafer Courtyard on the Ironton Campus until Aug. 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Zanesville Campus students who have in-person labs received them at the beginning of their classes, which began Aug. 24. Students participating virtually can stop by one of the drive-thru pick-ups and get their bag on Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look for the OHIO flags marking the drive-thru. Students can also pick up their bags from the Student Services area until Sept. 4.
