Registration is now open for the spring Voinovich Academy for Excellence in Public Service series, “Leading in Appalachia: Communicating in a Complex World.” This program is six sessions and will run once a month on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., starting March 16 through August 17. The workshops will take place virtually via Zoom.
Current and future leaders of Appalachian Ohio are invited to attend. The trainings topics include leading with strengths, effective communication, collaboration, data visualization, emotional intelligence and advocacy. In addition to gaining new skills on these topics, participants have the opportunity to network and collaborate with others from the Appalachia region.
The series is free and pre-registration is required, with an expectation that participants attend all six sessions. Online registration is now available. To learn more, visit the Voinovich Academy website .
