Flexible workspaces at The Ridges are now available for reservation in EMS, a customizable booking software that offers advanced search and scheduling features and integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
Flexible workspaces, including individual work stations, collaboration spaces, and conference rooms, are provided by the Flexible Workplace Project in The Ridges Buildings 13, 14 and 18. Spaces in Grosvenor West (first floor) and Lindley Hall (first floor) will be added later this year.
To make a reservation, log into EMS and follow the directions for reserving spaces on the EMS Flexible Workspace Help and Resources page .
As demand for flexspaces increases, EMS will help manage spaces in an equitable manner. Current booking guidelines automatically managed by EMS include:
- Schedule individual spaces up to 90 days in advance, with up to 25 recurring reservations
- Schedule meeting spaces up to 180 days in advance, with up to 50 recurring reservations
- Schedule up to 8 spaces per day
EMS replaces the previous booking process in Outlook. However, once a reservation is made in EMS, the reservation will appear on the Outlook calendar of all attendees and can be edited or forwarded as needed.
