Ohio University Chillicothe has established a Campus CARES Team to help address concerns relating to the behavioral and mental health of members of the campus community. The team is comprised of faculty and staff members.
Faculty, staff, students and other members of the OHIO Chillicothe campus community are invited to utilize the new OHIO Chillicothe Campus Community Concern Form to report any non-emergency behavioral, mental health-related, academic, or other concern about a member of the OHIO Chillicothe campus community. Form submission will trigger the OHIO Chillicothe Campus CARES Team to convene to review the form and determine next steps and possible interventions or referrals.
“We care deeply about the mental health and well-being of our students and members of our campus community, and we know that it is sometimes very difficult for people who are facing challenges or in crisis to seek help,” said Dr. Ashlee Tatman, director of Student Services at Ohio University Chillicothe. “If you have a concern about a student or other member of our campus community, please let us know so we can provide the appropriate support and assistance.”
