Ohio University celebrated Homecoming 2024 in style, as students, faculty and staff decorated their departments and residence halls to show off their Bobcat pride.
The decorations were part of the Paint the Town green challenge sponsored by the Ohio University Alumni Association. During Homecoming Week, 13 departments and 11 residence halls participated in the challenge by decorating their spaces with themed decorations, banners and displays that celebrate our beloved Bobcats.
"It was a joy to see students, faculty and staff decorate for Homecoming this year,” said Dana Wright, senior director of student and recent alumni engagement for the Ohio University Alumni Association. “The decorations not only filled campus with Bobcat spirit and pride, but also provided an opportunity to boost morale, build community and have some fun!"
This was the first year that Ohio University has hosted the Paint the Town Green challenge in several years. Thanks to the outstanding participation this year, plans are already underway to bring back the competition for Homecoming 2025.
