Transition to Cayuse: Updates and training

OHIO's Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP), in conjunction with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and the Department of Finance, has been diligently working to provide accurate and relevant research data from previous years in Cayuse, the new electronic research administrative system (ERA) for Ohio University.

The process of converting the data from LEO, the old homegrown ERA, has encountered multiple roadblocks which have inhibited ORSP from validating the data within Cayuse.

Due to these challenges, the launch of the proposal and award modules in Cayuse will begin in the Spring 2025 semester. ORSP thanks the campus community for their continued patience and support throughout this transition.

Training and assistance

ORSP will be providing training and additional assistance throughout the transition. Additional information, including a training schedule, will be forthcoming early in the Spring 2025 semester.
