The Writing Certificate is a flexible certificate that students can tailor to support their individual writing goals.
In core courses, students build upon Ohio University’s BRICKS writing curriculum by engaging with new writing genres and rhetorical situations that are common beyond the university. Students work with talented peers and begin aligning their writing expertise to personal and professional goals. Students then take writing-focused elective courses in their majors or area of interest in order to strengthen their ability to write in their fields.
