Robb Moats grew up in a suburb of Morgantown, WV, and subsequently attended West Virginia University where he earned a BA in biology. He completed an MS in 1997 and PhD in 2000, both in physiology, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After earning his doctorate, Robb filled a visiting assistant professor position in physiology at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville from 2000 to 2004. He joined the biological sciences faculty at OHIO Chillicothe in Fall 2004. He was promoted to associate professor and tenured in 2007 and is now Division Coordinator for the Arts & Sciences Division. His areas of professional interest include endocrinology, women's health, and animal physiology in extreme environments. He also likes to read, is a member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, and is a teen mentor at Paper City Coffee in Chillicothe.
