The Music Industry Summit is for everyone! We encourage OHIO students, faculty and staff, prospective high school students and educators, musicians, music entrepreneurs and industry professionals, or anyone who is actively involved in or wants to know more about the business of music to attend.
The Music Industry Summit will continue to be free for students and educators at any institution and Ohio University alumni.
New for 2025, there will be a registration fee for all other in-person attendees. The early bird fee will start at $50 for the entire conference and will increase to $75 on March 3rd through March 23rd (when online registration closes). Walk-up registration will be $100 if we have not hit capacity. Conference registration will include access to all primary programming and evening networking events, including our opening party.
Livestreams of the main stage sessions will be available to anyone free of charge, but registration is required.
All attendees will be required to purchase tickets for the Closing Night Concert at Memorial Auditorium if they wish to attend.

Speaker and artist announcements will begin in November 2024 and continue up to Summit. The full schedule will be released by the end of February. A draft version of the schedule for planning purposes can be viewed here .
The Summit will be held in-person at on the Athens campus of Ohio University. Main stage sessions will be livestreamed via YouTube for those who would like to join virtually, and select sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand viewing following the Summit. For the 2025 Summit, virtual attendees will not have access to the dedicated Ohio University Music Industry mobile app. Breakout sessions, mentoring roundtables, and performances will not be livestreamed.
Registration gives you access to all panel and interview sessions in Baker University Center Ballroom on March 26 and March 27, 2025. Seating for each session will be provided on a first come, first seated basis. Tickets for concerts are not included with any registration, paid or free, and will require a purchase. Some programming like mentoring roundtables may require an additional RSVP; more details to be announced.

In-person day-of registration will be available if we have not reached capacity. For all non-student, educator, or Ohio University alumni attendees, the in-person registration cost will be $100, if we have not reached capacity.
All in-person attendees should download the app to build out their profile, connect with other attendees, access the schedule, and more. For in-person attendees, the app will be your one-stop-shop for all the info you need and will be your entry into the Summit.
Virtual attendees will access the livestreams through YouTube and will not have access to the app.
Sessions will take place in Eastern Time.
Livestreamed sessions will be available through YouTube. A link will be provided to everyone who registers for the virtual programming.

Meals will not be provided at the panel sessions, but several options are available for dining within Baker Center , and steps outside of Baker Center in uptown Athens .
