The FFCRA and all related leave allowances expired Dec. 31, 2020, University Human Resources recognizes that employees will likely continue to face unique leaves and flex needs throughout the remainder of the pandemic. 

A s you know, OHIO’s top priority is to become a national leader for diversity and inclusion, creating an environment where difference in all of its forms is welcomed and celebrated. We invite you to actively contribute to our progress by voluntarily self-identifying in a variety of areas to help more accurately determine the diversity of our workforce.

The PDP program offers the Benefits Offerings course to introduce the types of benefits offered to OHIO faculty and staff, the eligibility requirements, and where to find specific resources regarding these benefits.   

University Human Resources will only be responding to urgent issues during Winter Break Closure and Mandatory Furlough Days from December 21st through January 5th.

University Human Resources would like to remind eligible University employees of the upcoming mandated furlough days for FY21. 

As we near the end of the fall semester, we are providing some details about what to expect as we move toward the spring.

University employees are encouraged to prioritize their wellbeing by utilizing the resources available to them through programs and offerings from Human Resources and WellWorks.

Departments can take this time of slowed hiring to ensure that faculty and staff are trained in preparation for any future searches.

As indicated in Ohio University’s Policy and Procedure #41.125 , University Human Resources annually issues an official list of holiday observance dates.

The university must notify faculty and staff annually of its drug and alcohol policies and resources available to those seeking assistance for drug or alcohol issues.
