Fun Info:I recently relocated here from Philadelphia, so I've been exploring different areas of Ohio for the first time. I enjoy hiking in Hocking Hills and seeing performances at Stuart's Opera House.
What My Position Entails: I manage the Kids on Campus after-school program at Belpre Elementary School, which involves maintaining a safe and fun environment for outdoor play, homework help, literacy/math enrichment, and hands-on activities.
Why I Enjoy My Job:This job allows me to think outside of the box as opposed to a structured school day. I enjoy being able to create opportunities for student learning and socialization that don't require them to be sitting at a desk for hours at a time.
I Chose This Career Path Because:I wanted to take a break from traditional teaching in a classroom, but still be able to work with students in an educational setting. This job is the perfect combination of the two!
My Professional Passion:I want to help bring joy to kids' lives, especially at-risk student populations.
