Nelsonville-York City Schools currently has two afterschool programs. Nelsonville-York Elementary Kids on Campus and Nelsonville-York Middle/High School Kids on Campus are both funded through two Nina M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grants awarded from the Ohio Department of Education. With this funding, we are able to serve all students in the district. Students enrolled in our afterschool program receive a healthy snack after school and transition into the program where they participate in enrichment activities involving math and reading and engage in hands-on learning and STEM activities.
