Athens area Raccoon Creek Partnership and BBBS host KEEN Kid's Camp

The Raccoon Creek Partnership (RCP) is a local 501 (c) 3 non-profit watershed restoration group that partners with the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs. Amy Mackey, the Raccoon Creek watershed coordinator works at the Voinovich School, allowing the organization to collaborate and work regularly with students, faculty and staff at the university. Each summer, the Raccoon Creek Partnership organizes a Summer Watershed Camp for children in the community. This year, they joined forces with Athens County Big Brothers and Big Sisters (BBBS) to organize a camp in hopes of reaching out to disadvantaged youth who might not otherwise get to participate in their annual summer camp.
