iCats
iCats is a software system that will make it easier for students to submit requests to International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). It offers form submission and tracking through an online portal.
Here's how to get started:
1. Go to icats.ohio.edu and click on the green login button.
2. Login using your OHIO network ID and password (This is the same information you use to access your OHIO email).
3. On the left side menu, find either F-1 Student Services or J-1 Student Services, and click to see the forms available to you.

F-1 Students:
Under F-1 Student Services
- Add a new dependent
- Reduced course load for medical reasons
- Remove ISSS hold request
- Replace lost I-20
- Report enrollment at another institution
- Report new immigration status
- Request I-20 for new academic program
- SEVIS transfer out request
- Travel signature request
Under F-1 Practical Training:
- OPT EAD received
- OPT Employment Update
- SEVP portal lockout
J-1 Students (Holding a DS-2019 from Ohio University):
Under J-1 Student Services:
- Add a new dependent request
- On campus work authorization request
- Reduced course load for medical reasons request
- Remove ISSS hold request
- Replace lost DS-2019
- Report new immigration status request
- Travel signature request
