What is OUNPPM?
The Ohio University NAVAID Performance Prediction Model is a multipath modelling software package used in many countries. The image below shows adoption of OUNPPM as of 2023.

When did development on OUNPPM Begin?
Work on multipath modelling at Ohio University began in 1966. The model has continually been improved since then adding more features and improving the user interface. The current instantiation of the model uses a C/C++ backend and Java frontend.
How do I obtain OUNPPM?
OUNPPM per-seat licenses can be purchased directly from Ohio University. Training is required to purchase OUNPPM. Ohio University offers three and four day in-person training courses on how to use OUNPPM. Ohio University can host trainees on campus, or can travel to conduct trainings at additional expense. What can OUNPPM Do?
Analyze Localizer, Glideslope, and VOR multipath from nearby scatterers.
For Localizer evaluate Approach, Level Run, and Orbit inspections.
Analyze for CATI, CATII, and CATIII tolerances.
Visualize your scenarios in both perspective and orthographic views.
Analyze both Orbital and Radial inspections for conventional and doppler VOR, and evaluate versus FIAPA filters.
