Dr. Nicholas Vasilis Karayannis is an assistant professor of Physical Therapy within CHSP's School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences. His current research focuses on refining the content and delivery of somatic-based rehabilitation approaches (Physical Therapy, Yoga, Tai Chi) integrated with neuroscience-based mind-training practices to reduce suffering and cultivate activity engagement and wellbeing.

Her research and professional interests include child language development and disorders, autism spectrum disorder, interprofessional education and interprofessional practice, and scholarship of teaching and learning.
