MSA Alumni pose with an award

While 1,600+ alumni working across the entire spectrum of sports and entertainment is impressive in its own right, it is the loyalty of alumni and the familial nature of the relationships that truly make our network the #OHIOFamily.

Alumni Advisory Board

The Ohio University SAFM Advisory Board is comprised of 30 alumni members who meet once a year and host quarterly conference calls. These individuals are responsible for providing industry expertise to enhance the strategic direction of the SAFM Program and the Center for Sports Administration. The Advisory Board is divided into three committees:

  • Development
  • Public Relations
  • Recruitment

Each committee is charged to provide information and recommendations back to the Executive Director, who then works to integrate their initiatives, to benefit the current students, prospective students, and alumni.

Annual Fund

Want to make a direct impact on the future success of our students and program? Contributions to the fund will be used to directly impact students during their time here at OHIO. The following are just an example of some of the ways the gifts are used:

  • Funding graduate assistantship stipends, which includes a full-tuition tuition waiver.
  • Graduate recruitment scholarships.
  • Aid in students’ expenses on class trips to North Carolina "Tobacco Road," National Sports Forum, NACDA, presenting Capstone projects in NYC, etc.

We encourage you to make a gift to the OHIO Sports Administration Program.
