This specialized, multi-disciplinary graduate certificate provides students interested in craft brewing with the fundamental principles of biochemistry, microbiology, and engineering, as well as entrepreneurial aspects and small business ownership, all through the lens of craft brewing.
Students from diverse educational backgrounds work together in a student-centered, project-based environment and gain valuable hands-on experience through local internships. The certificate can be completed in three semesters, normally taking one course per semester.
Learn about Brewing and Business
In addition to learning how to design and develop new beer recipes for future product development, you'll learn how to evaluate and implement various marketing and business planning strategies that to beer brewing and beyond.

Admission to the Certificate
Students must be at least 21 years of age for enrollment. There are no other additional requirements beyond university graduate admission requirements.
