Annually, the employee well-being events centered around health screenings occur on the Athens campus in the Fall semester. Benefits-participating faculty and staff and their benefits-enrolled spouse/partner are invited to participate in these events at no cost.
Upcoming Biometric Health Screening events will take place on September 19 at The Ridges and October 23 in Baker University Center. Both events occur from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Ohio University is working with OhioHealth to offer this fall’s on-campus screening events. OhioHealth has announced a new scheduling system which will make the event experience much easier this year, as participants can sign their consent forms electronically in advance of the event.
To schedule an appointment, participants can follow these simple Scheduling Instructions :
- Step One: Look for an email from < noreply-workhealthresults@ohiohealth.com
> . It contains an individualized activation code specifically for each eligible participant.
- Employees with a spouse/partner on the benefits plan will receive two emails; one addressed to the employee and one addressed to the spouse/partner. Employees are asked to forward the spouse/partner email since the University does not have spouse/partner email addresses.
- Step Two: Create account credentials. After clicking on the activation code in the email (the blue button link), the user will be taken to a registration page.
- Step Three: Complete consent. Click the 'Biometric Screening Consent' tab on the left. Click the “begin” button. Answer the Consent appropriately and hit "SUBMIT".
- Step Four: Schedule the appointment. Click the 'My Appointments’ Tab on the left. It will open to Appointments to be Scheduled. Click the “SCHEDULE” button. Use the drop-down menu to select a Location. Next, use the drop-down to select a Date and Time. Select "Submit".
Athens campus affiliates who have not received the email can complete the Activation Email Request Form .
To verify a scheduled appointment or to reschedule an appointment after successfully registering on the portal, a user can log-in to the portal to manage appointments.
Participants will receive results immediately and can utilize the expertise of the OhioHealth screeners to ask questions and be informed of possible next steps for health improvement.
Results remain confidential to the individual; Ohio University Healthy OHIO program will only receive aggregate results to help inform future programming needs.
Employees are encouraged to ensure wellworks@ohio.edu is on their safe sender list if the wish to receive employee well-being communications. If you have previously unsubscribed from emails or aren’t receiving employee well-being emails, you can update your subscription preferences .
