More about the OHIO-Gawande College Partnership Support Program in India
Prior to the establishment of the internship program, Ohio started a study abroad program with Gawande College, bringing together students from rural Ohio and students from rural India. That program was established in 2015 by Dr. Brian Collins ( Drs. Ram and Sushila Gawande Chair in Indian Religion and Philosophy) and Dr. Julie White (Associate Professor of Political Science and a core faculty in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies), along with OHIO's Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program and the Classics and World Religions department.
