To begin planning your event, follow this helpful event checklist below:
- Please have an approximate guest list/count. Your total guest count needs to be determined 5 business days before the event.
- Time/date of event.
- Projected budget for your event.
- Preferred menu style . Do you want your event to be buffet, served or a combination of both? Final decision of your menu needs to be determined 30 days before your event.
- Please contact OHIO University Transportation and Parking Services for parking information for your event. Visit our Parking Policy page for more information.
- Please reserve most non-food related equipment and arrangements by contacting OHIO University Event Services at 740.593.4000. Please place reservations requests for spaces in Culinary Services and Housing online at https://www.ohio.edu/housing/reservations. All non-food related equipment and arrangements include the room reservation, the setup and room configuration, technology and audio visual needs, and other facility related information.
- Determine payment method. We need this at the beginning of planning to determine the billing process.
