We are hiring!
We are actively looking for graduate and undergraduate students with a background in physical chemistry, who are enthusiastic about learning how the laws of physics govern chemical processes. Students with physics, mathematics and computer science backgrounds are also welcome to join!
Working with us, students will learn to design innovative theoretical methods and apply those to answer critical questions in chemistry. They will also acquire the skill of developing efficient computer codes by using high-performance computing techniques to explore computational chemistry on modern heterogeneous computing architectures.
With the rapid advancement in computer hardware, computational chemistry has now become an unavoidable tool for chemical discovery. Theory and computation is no longer a mere complement to chemical experiments, this is rather a thriving and evolving research field with its influence rapidly growing in the industry. The skills learnt in the Quantum Molecular Theory group will prepare students for both academic as well as chemical and software development industry jobs.
