Prospective Students

Graduate Students

I will be reviewing Ph.D. applications for the Fall 2025 cycle.

I am most enthusiastic about working with students interested in behavioral addiction, gambling, harm reduction, mixed method approaches, and/or understanding cultural impacts on addiction experience.

People from underrepresented backgrounds, international countries, and those with lived experience with addiction are encouraged to apply.

Please see this document for more information about what I am looking for in an applicant.

You can also review our  TEA Lab Manual  for more information about how the lab runs.

For information about applying to our program, please see our  Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Admissions Page .

I will not be taking a student for our M.Sc. of Psychological Science at this time.

Undergraduate Students

We are open to undergraduate students from Ohio University joining the lab.

If you are interested in joining our lab, please complete  this interest form .

You are required to be able to take two credits (6 hours per week) for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer, unless you choose this).

It is preferable that you have also taken research methods and statistics; however, this is not necessary.

We do not take students every semester. However, when taking students, we refer to this interest form and will do a short interview to select students at the end of the semester before you join the lab.
