Why She Went Greek: "I joined a sorority because my friend asked me to go through recruitment with her, and I thought it would be a good way to get involved on campus. I was very active in clubs and organizations in high school, so I thought this would be a great bridge to meeting more people and seeing what else my campus had to offer."

Why She Went Greek: "I joined a Sorority because I was looking for a way to get involved on campus in a service-based organization. In high school I was very involved in service organizations and clubs and wanted to continue that in college. Greek life allowed me to find a community of like-minded and service-oriented people that shaped my college experience in such an amazing way!"

Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, OHIO University | M.Ed. in Counselor Education with an Emphasis in Student Affairs, Clemson University
Why She Went Greek: I joined a sorority in my sophomore year of undergrad to help find a home at Ohio University. Joining a sorority allowed OHIO to feel smaller and more comfortable, but it also allowed me to meet some of my forever friends. I knew I wanted to be a leader, and there were many opportunities to get involved in leadership positions or committees within sororities. I also heard that sororities and fraternities provide a great network of connections through current and alumni members. As a business major, I knew building transferable skills and networking was essential. Sorority and Fraternity Life allowed me to meet all the goals I wanted personally and professionally in undergrad - make friends and find a home within OHIO, gain leadership skills that translate to the real world, and have a network of supporters across the country.
