Southeast Asian Studies Undergraduate Certificate

The Southeast Asian Studies Certificate is open to students from any major. The program is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of Southeast Asia, which comprises a vital region that stands at the forefront of dynamic changes in global politics and the world economy. The certificate program critically examines these trends as well as the rich cultures, traditions, and societies of Southeast Asia. The curriculum involves courses from four university colleges between many disciplines and includes multiple opportunities for study abroad. The interdisciplinary coursework and language skills of the certificate are applicable to a wide variety of professions.

Eligibility and Required Coursework

The Southeast Asian Studies Certificate program requires students maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher in certificate courses.  For a complete list of program requirements, please view the course catalog.
